Old Fashion Values combine with State of the Art Service and Product Lines

How did it all start?

In 1952, while working on his undergraduate degree, Ken took a part time job with the Henry W. Britnall Company as an equipment mechanic. The Harry W. Britnall Company was, at the time the premiere rebuilder of graphic arts industrial equipment in the San Francisco Bay area. Later, wanting more hands on experience (which would become the K Wilson & Co trademark) he joined the company on a full time basis and in typical Wilson fashion learned the mechanics of the printing equipment literally from the inside out. During his 60 year career Ken has been known for his in-depth knowledge of literally every kind of printing press, and bindery equipment manufactured to date. From the days of "hot type" to film, and all the way to today's Digital revolution, Ken, Steve & their team have seen it, trained on it and worked on it. Throughout time his mantra has been Integrity, Service, and Professionalism, and it has served him well. The customers know they can count on K Wilson & Co. as a true survivor during the tides of change that have affected the printing industry, especially in the last ten years. Rest assured you will save time and money, with their wealth of knowledge which allows them to diagnose and fix your problems effectively.

As with any successful, family-owned business, Ken has had the insight to incorporate his successor and son, Steve Wilson, as an integral part in the daily operations of the company. After graduating from college, Steve joined K Wilson & Company as a service technician. "Like Father Like Son", Steve has adopted a detailed hands-on approach and works on a vast variety of equipment found in today's complex printing plant.  Today, Steve heads the service department and is involved in the day to day operation of K Wilson & Company.

Frequently, Father & Son team up on service calls and equipment installations. They collaborate on solutions for customers and are known throughout the printing industry for the combined printing knowledge and expertise in every facet of the printing and finishing process.
